Evan and I take off for the glory of Red River Gorge via motorbikes to officially welcome Spring.
Evan & I headed out on the motorbikes to the beautiful Red River Gorge in Daniel Boone National Forest. After riding some incredible roads, eating the “world’s best fried chicken,” arriving 5 hours behind schedule to , hiking an “unofficial” and unmarked trail, and climbing the terrifying “Indian Staircase” in pitch darkness to have one of the best camping experiences of my life. Truly, a hella-awesome-balls-to-the-wall trip.
Life is a process of becoming, a combination of states we have to go through. Where people fail is that they wish to elect a state and remain in it. This is a kind of death.
The fam came out to the house to hang out and celebrate my birthday! It was a blast! Robbie, Dana & the kids, and Abby and Kate came down as well. They even stayed the night! Pizza, Beeritas, & a blizzard Ice cream cake made it a time to be remembered!
My New Bike!!! A (new to me at least) BMW R1150 GS Adventure. It’s basically a hummer with two wheels. (and not one of those newer H2 soccer-mom-mobiles, but the real, flippin, deal.)
